Summer to Fall!!
We had an amazing summer!! Road trips in Arizona, Utah and Colorado! Thank you so much to everyone that had us out, we had so much fun!
We also had fun with the lingering effects of COVID, playing outside in the sun and wind. We played in a parking structure for the first time I can remember! It’s been an adventure!
Just as we were heading out to a retreat/music festival in Utah with Calvary Chapel Kanab, Erin Elizabeth slipped and broke her ankle!! We still had an amazing time at the retreat, including some epic jams and kicking it with Dennis Agajanian, but it was a challenge. Driving almost to the Wyoming border and back with a broken and swollen ankle (she hadn’t visited a Doc yet) was one for the books.
So now we’re back in school and the boys are getting slammed with homework, but we’re having fun! Congrats to Gavin for making first chair violin in his Jr High Orchestra. (Isaac is first chair violin in the high school orchestra but that’s old news.) Both boys are playing violin in a community orchestra here in Corona.
So yeah, it’s October… which means it’s time to get the Christmas album going and booking for the holidays! Let us know if you’re up for some bluegrass Christmas songs…
